I'm getting there. I can get the CPU to run at a clockspeed of 2.66GHz but that'll take the temperature up to 75 degrees celsius which is a bad thing. I'm looking to purchase a more effective heatsink to counter this problem. Also, I'm currently considering obtaining an AGP GeForce 6800 card. Preferably the GS series. Was previously eyeing the 6200, but I guess I'll just wait a little longer.
I just beat Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, a second time, after I found out that there was an alternate ending. It's a pretty good game. I liked the free-form fighting system. As for the bad, well, it involved a lot of trial and error (eventually resulting in death) solving some of the environment puzzles, that is, finding out where to go, pulling levers and switches and such like.
Work has been pretty engaging. Still got a number of projects that need to be completed as soon as possible. Learning new stuff as we move along.
I recently discovered CakePHP, a PHP framework inspired by Ruby on Rails (I've heard so many good things about RoR that it makes me wonder). So far, it looks very sweet. Essentially, you write less code with the framework, and it's neat, too.
Going back to gaming, I'm expecting my copy of Fahrenheit which I ordered last week Monday. Another game that I've heard good things enough. Hope it arrives soon enough. Cheers.
