Half-Life 2 IS Your Daddy!

Well, yeah! It is a kick-ass first person shooter. I've been playing for about an hour a day since Monday, and it's been fun! I just reached the Sandtraps chapter. Sweet stuff. Seriously. Which other game has you dodging bullets when you're onboard an Airboat?! It's crazy, man!

Work's been good. I just have one or two quirks with Tomcat and I guess that's just about it. Everything else goes smoothly. Oh, yeah, that and I came across a weird error in a JSP application one line number -1 (yes, that is minus one). No kidding. I'll post a screenshot later.

The African Nations Cup starts today. As a matter of fact, it's already started as I type this. Egypt is currently 2 goals ahead of Libya. I'll be watching some of the matches, and I can only hope Nigeria wins this one. Something to make up for not qualifying for the FIFA World Cup.

So, yes, Half-Life 2 it is! Later folks.

JSP/Servlets...

I've been reading up on this stuff. I already know how to code in Java, so basically, I'm picking up on the new concepts quite well. There was no work today (public holiday). It's currently about past 10 in the evening and I'm extremely tired. Been quite a busy today, although I was supposed to be resting. There's nothing particularly interesting that has happened so far.

And as for new year resolutions, I have none. I don't really see a point in having any. Methinks if you want to get something done or change anything, do so immediately instead of waiting for 365 days to go by. That's a waste.

I got a job. Developing with Java. Good pay.

Looking forward to a good year. I should be able to complete my PIV system within the next couple of months and start playing Half-Life 2; hopefully, before January ends, but one can only dream.
