I launched this blog on July 14, 2004, and it's already over a year now. Pretty amazing how time flies, isn't it?I've been learning Python. Working on an IRC bot that I named 'Shock'. I'm not going to implement much functionality, as I'm just going to be playing around with stuff that I can find using Google. I'll be running it on my channel, #shockreaction on the AccessIRC network. I'm also working on some web application for a client which I've got to complete within a day or two from now. Pretty tasking, but hey, I'm getting paid!
I also got to purchase FIFA 2005 (couldn't find Winning Eleven for the PC which I hear is better) and a couple of cheap game controllers. They didn't work on my Win98 box, so I had to make use of XP. Also had to do some registry editing and some tweaking for FIFA 2005 to recognise my pads (which aren't in its "gamepads supported list"). Now, time to kick some friends' butts!
And the official name for the Windows Longhorn release is Windows Vista! Microsoft will be releasing a public beta in August, or so I read. I'm looking forward to that :)
