School starts

Yeah, and I've got a lot of reading and catching up to do. Two out of four modules have been completed already, Program Design and SQL. Currently on Computer and Information Processing, and the final one is C Programming. It wasn't bad, quite fun, really. And there's a goodlooking girl in class. Shh, that didn't come from me :P

I'll be moving the whole site from this host in a month. Well, already done, but will finally make a full transition by the end of next month to here. Yes, I got a domain for it ;) I will be updating both for the next month.

Anyway, I'm going to be real busy with reading, reading, and lots of reading, bah! Kinda sucks, but I guess I'll get used to it. Now, this post has come to an end *Closes IE and picks up textbook to read*

New cellphone and other stories

5 months after my phone disappeared (got stolen, actually) from my home, I got a new phone line. Actually got the cellphone about 2 months back, Motorola C350, colour screen, [insert sexy tech specs here] etc. etc. Yeah, so I called one of my old schoolmates who I hadn't spoken to in ages. Her name's Laide. Yes, she's cute too, and a very nice person :)

Anyways, I still haven't talked to the "mystery" girl. The current excuse is, she travelled. No, seriously. *Looks innocently* Well, it's true! Found out from her younger sister yesterday morning. No idea when she'll be back, hopefully soon. Still do not know her name. How pathetic, no?

School starts for me next week, finally. I'm glad about that, really. Need to get me new shoes and a decent backpack, maybe later. And do not ask me about the "Post Comments" function! I'm still working on it! *cough*

Structural/Code Changes

Well, I made a few changes to the layout of the page (should be obvious), and also made the main blog and the recent items static HTML pages. This makes the whole site load faster, and also reduces usage of server resources due to the number of MySQL queries executed when a user views the page [/geektalk] :P Don't worry, I'll get the post comments function up soon, and no, I am not procrastinating!

Right, this sucks!

So, I still haven't talked to the "mystery" girl yet. Well, I've not approached her, and don't ask me, long story! Anyway, life's been generally boring. Heard from Lara about 3 days ago, she emailed me (she hardly sends emails, so that's worth mentioning ;)). I've been working, saving up for HL2 and nothing else is new. Btw, I've got 6 GMail invites to get rid of. If you need an account, just drop me an email (find this out). Laters, people!

And It's Over

The final episode of 24 was shown like 3 days ago, pretty intense, and a sad ending, no? The whole thing was just full of surprises, things that you weren't expecting, hence 24 wins my official Best Series Ever Award!

Anyway, I haven't been able to post anything on this blog for a while because, well, nothing's been happening really. Yes, I live a boring life, it's that bad :P For the past week, I've been working on an application in C# which is almost complete now. A Client/Server Timer application for Internet cafes. You ought to have come across one of those. Hoping to sell it and make a few bucks out of it. C# and the .NET Framework rules! I also intend to create a simple Image Converter Application, just for the sake of it. It won't take too long, thanks to the lovely System.Drawing.Image class provided. Isn't Microsoft nice? ;)

That's all for now. I shall now proceed to try and talk to a girl who lives about 4 to 5 houses away from mine, who likes me (or so I heard)... Wish me luck.
