Half-Life 2 Completed.
Now, I've got several new questions, and I'm probably going to have to purchase the expansion pack to find out what happens next. Meh. Overall, it's a very good game. I liked it. Except for Ravenholm. And the neurotoxion headcrabs. Everything else was fantabulous! Especially the gravity gun from the point it turns blue. I could pick anything with it! Well, almost anything. Anyway, I'm looking forward to explanations of the story. I still don't get it. Meanwhile, I intend to acquire Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) soon. That's another game I'd really like to play.
In other news, the Nigerian football team was defeated in the semi-finals by Ivory Coast with just a single goal. Serious work needs to be done on the defence. It's rather, crappy. But yeah, they owned the third-place match. As for February 14, it was just like any other normal day, really. Pretty uneventful. Worked throughout the day. Work isn't too bad. As a matter of fact, I'm actually having fun with work.
I'll be purchasing a PIV processor by the end of February which is good news. By then, I'd have a complete computer system up and running. I'm still trying to decide if I should dualboot, or just install Linux alone, and struggle to get the games to work using Wine (unfortunately, I can't shell out some bucks for Cedega. I don't really think it's worth it). Meh. The dualboot option looks more appealing to me.
And finally, after doing some tweaks to the code (thanks to the awesome guys at Jamroll), page validation works perfectly. Nice!
Shaolin Soccer
Well, what can I say? It's freaking awesome. Go see it. Now. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow; African Nations Cup semi-final matches. Exciting!
Another week starts, and I hope to achieve, at the very least, something significant. I'm at work now, and there's nothing to ramble about at the moment.
Change
As you have may have noticed, I moved a few things here and there, changed the layout and the fonts, and yeah, I think it looks much better now.
Nothing much is new, really. Work has kept me occupied for the most part, and I must say, it's pretty enjoyable.
I'm impressed with the performance of the Nigerian team in the African Nations Cup so far. We beat Tunisia today on penalties... it was pretty tense! But it's a good thing we made it through to the semi-finals. Hopefully, with some improvements here and there in the team, we'll be able to win the cup.
If you can be bothered, let me know what you think about the new design. Thanks
I'm off to see Shaolin Soccer now. Directed by the same guy who did Kung Fu Hustle, so, yeah, it should be fun!
